Next Tuesday, November 29th, is Giving Tuesday—an annual celebration of charitable giving, and a great day to mark in the calendar as a day to support the causes you care about. 

This year, East Coast Environmental Law is celebrating 15 years since we were established in 2007. That's 15 years of mentoring law students and promoting the value of public-interest environmental law, 15 years of advocating for progressive environmental law reform in Atlantic Canada, 15 years of supporting local environmental organizations and social justice advocacy groups in their efforts to build a more just and sustainable world, and 15 years of supporting community groups and individual members of the public who need legal information and support to navigate the environmental issues they're facing. 

East Coast Environmental Law has grown a lot since we entered our teens. From a society that started out as a passionate group of volunteer Board members to a busy not-for-profit with three lawyers on staff, we've evolved to meet pressing needs in our region, and we're not done yet.

This Giving Tuesday, please support East Coast Environmental Law by making a one-time donation or signing up for monthly giving through our charity profile at Canada Helps. Your donation will be used to support the core programs and services through which we provide environmental law information and support to community groups and members of the public throughout Atlantic Canada.
